Never mind, I read up enough on the fabric. Shouldn't be a problem.

I'm speaking about the 4Seasons and the 30/60 khakis, they fit true-to-size but I've found they can stretch if needed. Since dude said he was between sizes, I'd say choose the smaller one and then just chill and wait for it to stretch a little.

I thought so but they use different fabrics for different cuts. I got the 4Seasons, Climbers and one workwear pant of the first trial run. Everyone fits different in the waist and each got different properties by stretching.

(4Seasons > Climbers > Workpant)

outliers look like overpriced 874s to me. can anyone explain the 150usd pros?

874 as in dickies?

my outliers fit a lot better than my 874's do. Also the fabric is super water-resistant and more comfortable as well.

Outlier stuff is produced in NYC and the finish is very good. The used fabrics are durable (Riding the 4Seasons OG since the start of outlier and still no flaws in the seating area) and versatile useful (extremely breathable, water repellent and wind resistant).

Veilance

Speaking of, anyone know if they put their webshop stuff into the Arcteryx factory sales? Wonder if it's worth trying to get someone to proxy that stuff if it turns up?

They seem to treat it completely separate. I tried to use my Arcteryx prodeal on veilance stuff and they weren't able to help

^Yeah Veilance doesn't go on sale ever at Arc'teryx, I tried aiming for a field blazer last year with no luck.

Word.

Jumped over to The Tannery and picked up some of last seasons stuff which is on sale-

Sadly, they're not a stocklist anymore, thus nothing from SS11. And I think Ordo swooped in and got everything in my size

I was there a few weeks ago and the menswear buyer for the downstairs/where they stock veilance, said they just don't buy the S/S collections, but that they're buying F/W.

Oh? That's good news. I'd assumed the worst based on the fact that they took their name and info off of the Veilance 'where to find' page-

How's Veilance fit? I'm in between an XS and S. Would the XS be on the tighter side?

Veilance fits large, I had to go down from a small to an xs. Fits well but again sleeves are tad long but thats my only quibble.

Can't wait for FW11.

heard good things about omni-heat but realistic probability of ever "needing" it is quite low.

^I owned the HuMan jacket and the Civilized looks much better design wise despite it riffing from SI Stealth jacket but its something I'm keeping an eye out after Veilance/ACR release fall collection.

EDIT:Also the link was for the 2010 model not 2011.

It feels a bit undewhelming at first, I guess the details and seam work are where the magic happens. How was the SI stuff in that regard ?

The Drill top would make a nice bike jersey, the Ramsey jacket looks good too, not too fond of the striped hems though.

Will there be a true Aitor collection at some point though ? Collabs are great and all but...

Putting this thing up, since I'm not wearing it, and it deserves just that.
This jacket is, as far as i can tell, a very limited production by Sakuto Motoike, son of leather leather sculptor Hideo Motoike from back in 08, when he did a line of very aggressive leatherwear that's quite counter to the americana (i presume) he does now. Line is now defunct.
Cows leather, silver bone buttons and cotton inners. Not sure about the sleve lining, but i assume it's cupro or something along those lines.
Bought it of the man who runs the CCP gallery http://theofficegallery.com on Cypress. It was from his private collection.
Retail price was 4000 euro for him, back when he bought it, though i don't remember where.
Worn very sparsely (say once a year) by me.
Asking price right now is 2500 euro, but offers are welcome.

"Discolourations" from the dying process. Unique in that way.

Notice the spots here. A few more on the other side. Were there when i got it. Doesn't do anything negative to the look.

Will take more pictures for serious buyers and answer questions to the best of my ability.
From the same maker, but quite a bit later and in a different style period.
Size 3 desert boots, from before they started doing the more clunky look of the goodyear welt. Used quite a bit and rubbersoled a few times. Heel also rebuild a few times. No laces. Made of one piece of leather (tongue excluded).
Paid 600 usd for them back in the days, but it was including a very difficult shipping route (they didn't sell to people who weren't in store to try them)

Cedar wood shoe trees I'll throw in with the shoes for an ekstra 30 euro.
Again, I'll add extra photos if wanted.
