^^ question for small questions thread but..

with unsanforized denim, you just soak your jeans before starting to wear them. initially, they shrink apprx and inch in the waist and 2 or 3 inches in length.

I know that most of you bought your BSPs about 8-9 months ago and might not remember but --

Did anyone have any success shrinking the thighs more than than .5"?

I wonder if more than one hot soak would do it or if that is the max you can get out of them...

If my waist (measured like 2 inches below my bellybutton) is a 32.5, should I buy a 33 or 34 in BSPs, I'm scared 33 would shrink too much and be super tight, but I don't want my jeans to overstretch.

And so a crotch blowout approached.

Outside

Inside - you can see where the chainstitch has started to unravel

Looks like it's time for a little reinforcement so I'll probably drop 'em off at SE this weekend. My black 5010s need a little lovin' so it'll be nice to wear them for a week.

yo cure, you end up hemming your jeans?

and you got any post-wash pics?

whoaaa thats some huge stacks how tall are ya?

naww, i decided to not hem them since i'll be wearing my sexsufuxdb's with cuffs. ill get post wash pics sometime when i'm not lazy, they're mostly in my closet right now while i'm wearing the dry bones pair but i wear the bsp's whenever i feel like it. i'll try taking pictures soon though.

i'm about 5'5 so i get shitloads of stacking on those bsp's so they're unhemmed. i like it though.

^yes,

as the flat head defines its cuts by the last digit and its fabric by the first (except for the frontier series), it is the same cut!

in the frontier series (marked by F) it is the first and the second digit, defining fabric and cut respectively.

DENIM.

There are essentially 3 types of denim:

- The "3 Series" Denim, a 14.5oz selvedge denim. Any jean style starting with a 3 or Z3 or F3 is made from this denim. e.g. 3005 of F380

- The "5 Series" Denim, a 14oz selvedge denim. Any jean style starting with a 5 or S5 is made from this denim. e.g. S5003

- The "1 Series Denim", a 16oz selvedge denim. Any jean style starting with a 1 is made from this denim.

e.g. 1005

---

CUT.

The Frontier Series are style numbers are preceded by an F:

F310 is a tight straight cut and is our slimmest cut

F350 is a '55 cut, so straight but reasonably loose

F370 is a boot cut

F380 is based on a '66 cut, so somewhere between the F310 and the F350

The Exceed Series are all made out of the 16oz denim:

1001 is a tight straight cut and is our slimmest cut

1005 is a '55 cut, so straight but reasonably loose

1007 is a boot cut

The Pioneer Series are all made out of our 14.5oz denim

3001 is a tight straight cut (as per F310 and 1001)

3003 is a WWII model (painted arcuates and fewer rivets than normal)

3005 is a '55 cut (as per F350 and 1005)

3006 is a bell bottom

3007 is a boot cut

3008 and 3009 are based on a '66 cut (as per F380)

The Future Series are all made out of our 14oz denim:

S5001 is a tight straight cut (as per F310 etc)

S5005 is a '55 cut

S5003 is a cinch back and the loosest of all our jeans

S5007 is a boot cut

5100 is our 10 year Anniversary model is a little looser than the S5005

I washed my jeans this weekend, thought I would share some pictures.

I can't really tell if the pictures show that much of a difference, but they lost their brown tinge and got bluer and lighter in the faded areas after the wash
