it only looks that way because the contrast on those pictures is way off. Everything looks completely over exposed

Yea and combating that glaring sun is probably why they came out the way they did.

Shoot from higher up and get less sun/sky in the photos.

Well the spot is under 2 trees completely in shadow, thats why i have all that extra light coming in and those annoying halos. So i need to get a flash :/

Me and my buddy went to San Fran for a quick day of photography. Came up with a few shots and tried not to take some cliched stuff, too bad that's kind of impossible.

you'd be fine to take pics without being concerned about being in shadow, from what i can see there's plenty of light
