So... after a tip-off from our very own Mr Denime (thank you @beautiful_FrEaK), these 10th Anniversary Orrizonti era in a 1937 style cut landed Some rough and ready fit pics First pics are raw; second after a cold machine wash, a 30C machine wash and after wearing today I'll post measurements later for those interested. The rise is definitely lower than I usually go for but they're growing on me. I'll need to see @Mr Black for a hem soon8 points

@super-thermite nice! Your patch is nicer than mine. Mine is blank. I removed the suspender buttons after two years of struggle and never looked back. They’re really nice jeans. They evolve really good imo. I think it’s about time someone opened a Moto thread. side note - I don’t think freewheelers carry anything remotely similar in width. wearing said jeans, yesterday2 points

The waist looks less snug than we both feared after seeing the raw measurements! 😅 Very nice and I hope you enjoy some Denime history 😄1 point

Celluloid still has the 11.5 oz 1101 listed for the equivalent of about $200 USD and has most sizes still in stock. Sounds like they will still be cheaper even after the new discount. To be fair, I have not tried to purchase them, so maybe something funny happens once you try to checkout with international shipping1 point

Should also mention two recent great buying experiences with @Abarth_Swag. A really great seller. Bought a J82-WS, a J29-WS and a SP29-M. Everything w/ nice communication. A really reliable seller!1 point

I imagine most FC fans are not into the brand for full on retro/repro cuts but perhaps some will find this of interest. I had picked up the 30th anniversary jeans from Standard & Strange back in November 2022. They were reasonably priced initially & then when a sale kicked in I decided to buy a second pair which are still unwashed/unworn. I'd been hoping the matching jacket would turn up, similarly priced at S&S but it never did. After seeing the price ($500, I think) on the FC site I decided to pass. Recently I got the bug to search & see if one might be available somewhere online, & found a size 46 at Son Of A Stag. The price was still high but with first time buyer discount it came down to where I couldn't resist. I noticed that the cardboard tags were different from those that had had been on the jeans. Also the jeans had come in a cloth bag emblazoned with "1946", while the jacket had no bag & was described as 1944-45. Consequently I was crossing my fingers that the jacket would be made from the same denim as the jeans, which I like a lot. Happily it turned out the denim is the same on both items. Not sure if my photos best demonstrate that , but to my eyes the look & feel appeared identical. I'm including a photo side by side with the Freewheelers 1944 jacket. The FC is a wider shape which is accentuated by the stiffness of the denim.1 point

Loving these Tezomeya t-shirts. Got one un-dyed and one Fujinezu-iro (deep purple). Worn both, washed one... they'll do nicely... thanks to @julian-wolf for sharing above. Agree they are a bit long on the 185cm but they're relaxed and can be tucked nicely so it's all fine. The colour is really nice and dull. I'll go a few more as the dyeing has my interest. Fujinezu-iro created by using insect galls. This deep purple color was one of the popular colors in Edo period and this dying process was also used for dyeing teeth black which was fashionable in Edo period. I'm not going full tilt with the black teeth though 😁1 point

I made a video where I cover 7 pairs of Acronym pants and 4 pairs of Nike ACG pants from the era where Errolson Hugh was collaborating with them. This has by far been the most detailed video I've ever put together. Acronym wise I cover the pants P30A-DS, P10-E, SP29-M, P39-M, P23A-DS, SP29K-M and P53-WS. ACG wise I cover the pants ACG Cargo Trousers Blue, ACG Cargo Shorts, ACG Cargo Trousers Black, and ACG Deploy Cargo Trousers One thing I always miss from newer Acronym pants is how the phone pockets lack extra webbing to wrap over the top of a phone, this is something that was seen on their pants pre 2022 and is for some reason missing today.1 point

Rodeo Bros also sells the Sugar Cane jacket. They are mostly sold out too. I've purchased many times from Rodeo Bros & Klaxon in the past, when Rakuten was active. Both are great stores.1 point
