I just ordered 2000 no.2 denim from Rakuten for around 260 shipped.(but not hand painted)

I tried proxy for a 2001 no.1 denim and end up around $430.....:eek: that hand paint doesn't worth all that extra money IMO.....

is the estimated shrinkage measurements on big for evisu lot 1 2000 accurate? will the hem actually stretch back out? a 7.75" hem is too small for me...8 is the smallest hem i can work with.

you could streach them by hand but i cant realy see .25 inch make a lot of differance. id love a pair of no.1's

Quite nice actually . Green caste looks sort of brownish until washing

and it is #2 denim I dunno why they label it as #3

Are you sure it's #3? I was under the impression that the red/white was the sign for No.3 denim.

EDIT: sorry, meant to say are you sure it's #2.

my #2 have the red/white . I think they simply re-named that #3 for wtf ever reasoning . #3 cut + #2 denims possibly honestly I dunno .

denim is #2 it appears and oki-ni says the same

fades to nice hues , good vertical falling solid denim , SUPER soft after fades n washes initiated .

double check with oki though maybe ?

I think that there are two red/white selvadge #2 denim - the older japanese #2 denim and the recent Euro denim...I don't think that Oki-Ni sells the Japanese version, but until last season, the Euro #2 was the red/white (now it's #3). but I think it was different than the Japanese version. It's still a nice denim though. ^what numero said about the fades.

I also have a pair of 0001 fit #3 denim, are they the same fit? i don't want to have two pairs of same jeans with diff color/material....FML.....
