Yes mate, sorry having a senior moment.

Yes the book is good imo, insomuch as it's a more or less an objective look at the workings/history of Levis Strauss and the factory evolution etc and as far as l have read (up to 1972), has happily filled in a few gaps of info for me. Cheap as chips too - under a tenner. And all in english which is a bonus

The 501 XX book is much better but back then there was hardly any info on old denim.

It's a drag but I "read" these books using Google Translate app with the camera function

Never tried it successfully with my phone. Did some of the Japanese language 'Researchers guide 501XX ' book but it was very laborious with my tablet thing.

The DHL gods were good to me this week.

Apple’s built in translation app has been actually pretty good with converting War Denim into English.
