With 2nd, you will see in most descriptions "Nonuosshu" (Non-wash), or "Wash" (One-wash). These say "Nonuosshu".

2nd is in Ise, Mie prefecture. If you wanted to visit Ise, you could also stop by the Grand Shinto shrine, one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. 2nd itself is a tiny shop where most of the stock is in another building. Really nice staff, and they do carry all their denim raw.

If you really want the Samurai Jeans experience, I have to recommend shooting over to Osaka to the main store. Mori-San, the shop manager is extremely helpful and does all your hemming as well.

@b_F, Not a recent purchase, but my man hooked me up! It's from 3 years ago. I feel you on the Zero denim. Something about the 17 oz weight and double ringspun, slubby, robust fabric. Plus, the 5000vx is my favorite cut. Glad to hear you rocking them.
