most of the 3 star sushi places are hard to get into as a foreigner to begin with. There's some good unranked sushi out there too, doesn't need to be a massive name I guess.

cyberpunk, mis and I went to Daisan Harumi at Shinbashi, it was pretty good. Not Jiro good, but it was only 7500Y or something for an omakase lunch on a Saturday. It ranks #11 on tabelog for all sushi in tokyo from the looks of it, but who knows how tabelog works anymore.

7000 yen for lunch and dinner on weekends iirc, sushi is good quality, but ambiance(mad ugly decor and plates), service(dont wipe your serving plate after each sushi) is a little lacking. If you want a deal, Sushi saito is the cheapest 3 star you will get, lunch is less than 6000Y, but incredibly hard to book

Oh yeah, the food is crazy good too.

Maybe you can convince your date for a "rest stop" as you walk through maruyama-cho.

worst thing is i had tried it on while on a business trip in Taipei and didn't pull the plug cause there was a ~15% premium vs. jpn price, but when i sent someone to get it, it was already long gone from the jpn stores, one of my worst decision...

i don't think i would've been able to find it in stores b/c so few was produced. also, the jacket was the #1 hyped item from the collection.

there was a red one left in Aoyama in like size 4 or 5. but the retail was like 88,000 yen. i couldn't have bought it anyway

Undercover men's collection has been shit recently.

My favorite collections were A/W 2009 and S/S 2010 (Less is Better).

Such great concept designs and execution.

It's so obvious they are cutting on quality and rehashing concepts/designs to make sales recently.

No uninspired.

Really inspired by Dries Van Noten and Wooyoungmi, recently....
