Full Count Denim Thread

Its a looser fit than the 1108 by a lot. Id say get the same size. I have a 32 in both. See my measurements on the previous page and compare to yours for an idea. If you want a similar fit to 1108, going down 2 would probably achieve that, but thats kind of against the cut.

Got a pr of Dry 1101 from AND-Japan.Have had three very hot washes and tumble dry on High .Never took pre wash measurements as I used BIG size guide to purchase.Very happy with the fit as long as the stretch out is not too much.I think I could have even got down to a 31 waist as I hear these do stretch a lot.I wear Edwins ( 30 waist ) normally and prefer the Edwin 14.25 oz denim weight of the Ed 39.I also prefer the Top Block of the Ed 49 as it has a longer back and front rise, but loses out on the narrow leg opening and selvage.I wish Edwin would blend the two styles.Anyhow, still in pursuit of perfection?Maybe i'll look at some Lot 002 McCoys next? For the record:

Fullcount Dry 1101 32 x 34 Post wash measurements

Front rise 11.25

Back Rise 15

Waist 32.5

Knee 8.75

Inside leg 33.25

Leg Opening 8

back rise is about 16"

So that's post soak ?:

Back Rise 16

Front Rise 11.25

Just got the 1101 and would prefer the extra inch in the back of the 105's if that is indeed correct?

IIRC that is not the case in BIG stated measurements.

BiG doesnt state the 0105xx measurements once washed. They only state the 0105(non xx) raw. My measurements are correct for my pair. There is always variation. The most accurate on line measurements I have seen for the 0105xx are actually on okayamadenim.com. However, they only have measurements for the normal 0105. But their stated one wash measurements for a size 32 non-xx denim match my size 32 xx denim pretty close. yes to the post wash

one of the things that i thought was quite unusual about these was the placement of the coin pocket , its rather high compared to the standard 1108 ,  these are a ww2 inspired jean but as far as i know this isnt a ww2 detail ??

shorter rise on the ww2? the back yoke "V" seems shallower than the 1108's. the front rise also. could be the angle of the pics, so perhaps measurements s'il vous plait? :)

No, I haven't worn the 1108's.  Its just too snug in the hip area, and every time I sit or walk up a flight of stairs I feel the strain.  I'm too old to battle fits.  I think I should have gone TTS and just dealt with the waist being too big.  I almost want to add a TTS 1108 to the rotation, but just keep them on ice in my closet.  But before I do that, I need to add some Samurai's, a pair of Warehouses, a pair of Oni's, some McCoy's....:)

Im just in love with Full Count's denim.  I cant get over how unique it feels to the hand.  Its rough, but in a smooth way, almost like it contradicts itself.  Shit, this is getting too deep...

Thanks for the fit pics Flash.  Lost at least 2 waist sizes and my 1108c are too big now.  contemplating on getting another pair of FC'S.  deciding on 1108 or 1109.  Most likely the 1108 since i want a little higher rise, but man those 1100 are spot on.  What's the waist size on your tagged 29 1100 and tagged 30 1108.

Nothing out of the ordinary but I figured you might enjoy a few pics of the 1101s I just received from and-japan. Was intrigued by the heavier XX-fabric, but opted for these as I wanted something fairly lightweight for the summer and liked the tapered cut of the 1101 more. The denim is already so soft and nice and the construction is amazing, as expected. I like the dark copper stitching contrasted with brighter gold in particular.

Think they will turn out to fit the way I wanted with room in the top block and thigh but tapered enough to go well with trainers and low shoes. I'll post pics later this week when they have been given a wash!
