the garments he chose aren't bad, it's just the overall fit.

imo, if he went 2 sizes up on the waist for the denim and put on a belt /or find a denim that is not so low rise, a size up on the shirt, wore a black unbuttoned cardigan (a great item to elongate your body... i use it quite often), lost the shades, and used less product in his hair.... i think he would look great.

oh and V-neck instead of crew neck. that would elongate your neck too.
