I can't wait to you guys restock IH' 634S in a size 36. I'm still trying to gauge if those things fit slim though.

I'm 6'2" 225 pounds, though most people guess 200. I love the way I cropped this photo to look as fat as possible. These are 1634s in a 34. The 634s are slightly smaller iirc, so they'll be a bit slimmer. They fit me like this:

Just wondering what generates a 170 dollar price tag on the flannels?

Cut, Quality of Fabric, and Construction.

If you go into any high end boutique and look at button down shirt prices, they're sure to start at $150 and go up to $300. Most button down shirts at boutiques will be in the $215 range and yet still don't get anywhere near the quality of these Flat Head shirts.

those shirts are really tailored looking(tapers in), is that how they actually are or are they pulled back for the pictures to create the image of it actually being that fitted

They do not taper at the bottom, but they are fitted.

The cut on them is golden, they fit very well if you like a slim fitting shirt.

Appreciate the help, I've been wondering about that. Whats been really confusing to me is the conflicting measurements on Self Edge's site, and the IronHeart.co.uk site. SE has it at 35.5, but it's 36.1 on IH.co.uk.

I can measure my 1634s if you want. They've been worn maybe 10 days (mostly wearing the PBJs still), but not washed, so it should be a good idea of what they stretch to raw.

i was wondering about this, were there regulations against selling the shirts online cause flathead shirts seem like a real big ticket item so i thought it would have been up right away. or did you finally just decide to give us the shirts we wanted like the salivating dogs that we are.

That'd be real helpful. Thanks.

I feel like something must be wrong, but I've measured over and over using the BiG instructions. This is the size 34 Iron Heart 1634. They have NOT been washed yet.

Waist: 35-36.5" - Lies flat at 35", if pulled, stays at 36.5"

Thigh: 13.25"

Knee: 9.5"

Front Rise: 11.5"

Back Rise: 15.25"

Inseam: 34.25"

Hem: 9"

OK, I remeasured until I got consistent numbers for everything.

Waist: 36"

Front: 11.5"

Back: 15.25"

Thigh: 13"

Knee: 9.5"

Hem: 9"

Again, this is pre-washing, and after being stretched out.

Here's my explanation..

The measurements vary from production run to production run for any company because they cut jeans in huge stacks, not one at a time.

The sizing of last year's run seems to be the same as the new run they just did two months ago. Yet inbetween those two runs they did a run with no arcuates at all (with only the red W) right after the Levi's lawsuit, and that's the run we measured. That run actually ran smaller than last year's productions and the newest one released two months ago. The measurements aren't that different, and we actually haven't had anybody exchange or return a pair yet. Our current stock consists of both new production (with arcuates) and old production (no arcuates), and our measurements are from the ones produced six months ago.

The next production is being released in a month, we have no idea which release it's going to run like. In the end, the cut is the same and the changes are not really noticable. It's an amazing cut, which is why it sells so well, and it'll continue to be a favorite even if they like to mess with us in terms of sizing.

They haven't done a run of 1634 since before the lawsuit, so they're all from pre-2007.

If you got into the size 34 1634, you should be ok with a size 34 634s, they might be a bit tight at first, but you know how they stretch out.. they'll be great within a week or two.

i think it was because the shirts sold out quick in stores thats why he didn't bother even putting em up

i remember kiya telling me something along the lines of this when i asked about the houndstooths
