I would consider it to be light for a denim shirt, but my only other denim shirt is the 13.5 IH overdyed.  The denim is quite stiff for how light it is.  2 hot soaks with agitation and it was still like cardboard.  It's softened up quite a bit with wear, but it's definitely still denim.  There is no kidding yourself that you are picking up a chambray or flannel.

I've got one of the Lot A Appaloosas and I love it. Its pretty lightweight but still feels relatively substantial. It was pretty stiff after the soak, much more then my Rogue Territory shirt, but has softened up pretty good. I've been wearing it as a jacket here in southern california, and its working pretty well.

I'm thinking about getting an Appaloosa, how do people who have one like it?

Would love to see some worn examples as well.

Based on the SE measurements I'd probably size up for shrinkage.

Looks like the denim overshirt I've been looking for, love the details.

Crazy to think that it's been five years since that came out.

Where was that shirt made? ^

I believe some were made in China and some in India... and before anybody gets worked up about it again.. here's what i posted four years ago:

Regarding the Gap Mister Freedom collection from Mister Freedom himself:

-------------

The story with this tee is basically this: the Gap mens knits head designer

is a long time loyal customer of ours and he asked us to do a design for

AIDS relief in Africa charity called Product [red]. Not exactly the kind of

thing you can say "no thanks" to.

This project is one of those things you do because you believe it's going to do more good than where the shirt may be made doing bad. If that makes any sense.   Not many people even have the chance to have their artwork turned into a Product [red] piece, so the chance isn't something you pass up.
