blue tab should be some kind of Denime for international market back in the days, right?I know black tabs with gold writing were for sure an indicator for old Denime sold abroad.

That's right, I believe BiG used the black/gold tab (on the coin pocket) for the last special edition XX/66XX they carried.

And in the UK in the 90s, there were some shops that carried Denime. You find every now and then some of those pairs on eBay. Blue tab (maybe also black) and often with some name instead of XX or 66 or 66XX

They look already dark brown. Nice work.

They are the RRL's, but i think that's mainly due to the lighting, only showing a tiny bit of brown at spots that are scuffed.

I got them from yahoo auctions for a really good price considering The price increase of the old stock since they were took over by McCoys , I've wanted some old stock denime xx for years but never had the chance ( still gutted I never entered the contest )

Ill be sure to post lots of pics when I get them

shameless plug...selling the brand new size 34 shins era 66xx i manage to get my hands on last week, fit doesn't work for me after soaking. i am seriously bummed about this because the denim is just incredible.

ah..too bad. Didn't see you post before I answered the PM. How is the inseam length and "damage" working for you?

Inseam is fine mate ( not enough to cuff but im happy ) and I've had the damage fixed already

They fit fine in the top block but just look a little sloppy below the knee so ill have them tapered this week

I've just give them a soak so ill get some fit pics up when there dry , they had a lot of starch left in them so I hope there isn't much shrinkage left ( couldn't really spare any inseam shrinkage )

If I can keep them at there current length ill be fine , I think the taper will help with the length issue as well ( allowing the jeans to sit on the shoe instead of over it )

How much are denime's going for these days? i know of a shop that has a couple of models from like 10 years ago in small sizes like 30 and 29.
