I really like these jeans now, i was bit unsure at first as i was used to brands like Iron Heart & Samurai and these seemed a bit ordinary. But they are super comfy and i kinda dig the understated details.

Snapped some pics of the jeans in natural light. They are pretty dirty now but going to keep going in them for a few more days before i give them a wash and send them on.

I am going to do some deadlifting in them tonight which should help with the fades then wash them and get some more pics up.

Gave the jeans a well deserved wash last night. Hopefully the weather will hold out so i can get a couple of pics before posting them out.

It's been far too hot lately for a white boy from Birmingham to wear jeans, so yesterday and today has been the first time I've properly worn these.

 

Yesterday my eldest had his last day at pre-school and so they had a little leaving ceremony and they were all given a little teddy. Unfortunately the pre-school closed on the same day due to a lack of intake for next term so it was really quite a sad event. The teachers were emotional as we were most of the mums (my wife included). The pre-school is actually a registered charity rather than a private company so all in all a big shame. 

 

 

This afternoon we headed down to my father in-law's allotment to reap the harvest! I looked after it for a few weeks whilst he took a holiday and it was bloody hard work.

Plus I scored some Sabbath tickets this week for their last ever gig which will be at the NEC in Birmingham. I'm not completely convinced they'll never reform again but either way I never miss a chance to see them.

Went to watch Worcestershire vs. Pakistan this week. Pakistan are in the middle of a test series with England and play a number of tour matches with County teams between tests. They came to Worcester New Road. As you can see it's a beautiful ground with the cathedral in the background.

Went to Bristol yesterday. Didn't take loads of shots but a highlight was this cool street market:

 

 

And a stall with 80s/90s wresting figures!! Jake's missing his snake though. He also had He-Man and Transformers.

 

 

And the jeans. I've only got an iphone so  I'm afraid we'll have to wait until Bobbo gets these back to take far superior denim photos, but here's a couple of detail shots

 

 

 

And finally a new album I've been waiting on for ages arrived, and aptly enough it's from Sweden, the home of the these Warehouse! Anyway, this carries my recommendation. Band even signed it for me (nice touch), but granted they're a right bunch of degenerates...

Great updates unders!!!

Went to a gig earlier this week in Digbeth. It's historically been an industrial part of Birmingham and still is, and has always been good for pubs. Over recent years it's become a hip part of town with 'street food' events and street art encouraged.

 

Apologies in advance for the overload but there is tonnes of great work:

 

 

 

 

 

 

The gig was at the Rainbow which was where the wife & I met so it's always good to head back there and reminisce. I went to see the support, Conjurer, who are a local band but when I arrived there were 5 bands on the bill - for 6 quid - awesome!

 

Here are Conjurer. They lived up to my expectations.

 

 

The headliners weren't great. It might be that I'm not down with the kids anymore, but they seemed more interested in acting kooky, throwing shapes like they were on too much acid and swinging from the rafters than playing a decent set. We left soon after they started which meant I could ponce around in a car park for fitpic:
