andimrob, I usually take off my wallet when I sit down for long periods of time.  I've noticed that most Japanese people do the same thing.  I would say that you should get whatever wallet you want, regardless of the size, and just take it out of your pocket if it gets uncomfortable.

I think of long wallets as more akin to a piece of jewelry - such as a watch, ring, etc. - that's a deliberate fashion accessory rather than a purely utilitarian choice.  That being said, I find the greater amount of space afforded by a large wallet to be absolutely invaluable in a cash and coins society.

  • 2 weeks later...

xpost from belt thread

Went to the SoWa Open Market in Boston today (farmer's market, food trucks, arts market etc).  I had been looking at natural leather belts but had held off on spending the $118 I saw in stores.  I picked up this belt from Cooper Leather who had a tent at the market.  $35 and made it to my size.  http://cooperleather.tumblr.com/

Hey guys, anyone know if/where I can get a decent Cafe Racer style leather jacket for under 400? I really like the Schott NYC one but that's about $550. This would be a gift from my mom and sister so I don't want to push the price too much. Thanks.

Just got this in today, from Scott over at Don't Mourn. A little mix up with the initial shipping cause him to remake my stuff, and include a free belt, the outer brown belt. Made of a thick brown harness leather. Slapped some mink oil on the wallet, and everything is set.

Homie I know you're just showing off that jacquard chambray. Still got any of those around the office?

We're almost totally out of those, but Rivet & Hide has the long-sleeve in stock in every size but 40.

Hi I have a new Studio D´artissan wallet and is too thick for me. Before selling, I'm considering the possibility of changing the button to anotherone flat. Any recommendations?

A pic of the wallet
