does anyone have measurements of black New Standards? I already saw on Contextclothing but i think they're kinda weird. i want to confirm them.

Also, does the black or indigo texture look better? as quality cause i saw some pictures of the black ones and they didn't look too great compared to the indigos.

I wanna get another pair of APC's. My new Ps feel too low of a rise and kind startin to get loose after the 2 months thinking of selling. So im thinking of getting another pair of New Standards and maybe go to a size 28. Im normally a 32. My 30's that i have are pretty baggy now but i like everything else about them. Could I size down that much or will i just get a major crotch rip.I know them stretch a lot but not know if that is just crazy to go down that much?

I'm 511' 165 pounds size 32 regularly

NS size 30 5 months

Dude, I'm a 32-33 true waister (5'6" 165-170 lb'er) and I'm exchanging my size 29 PS's for some size 28's so I think you could fit do a size 28.

If you want a higher rise, you might want to look at the NC's but maybe do a size bigger than you would in PS.

Do you do any activities? They show no wear AT all. My PS at 3 months look 3x more used then yours!

Pics of my size 29 PS right out the box are here:

Keep in mind these are right when I put them on. The waist was snug but not tight...so after the 2 inches in stretching they would be way too big. Hopefully my size 28's will stretch to perfection.

guys, want your opinion, I have two black ns, one is three years back and I got another this week, have they changed the quality at all?

My older one was way more stiff and deeper black when I bought it.

Btw this is my first post, I always visited superfuture and got a lot of denim knowledge from here, just never signed up.

hey how is the look of the quality of the blacks compared to the indigos? i've noticed that the black ones look a bit old and greyish in pictures unlike the indigos which look really nice.

What's your true waist size? I'm 5"6 and about 10 lbs lighter than you at 157 and you dropped down to a 29 PS? Though it looks like most of your weight is upper body; in any case a 29 in PS seems like it would be a 28 in NS.

chenmeister, I think both the indigo and blacks are great in quality. I wouldn't call it greyish, more like black with very subtle white streaks.

do you have the indigo or black ns?

ok thanks

i don't have either. i'm planning to get the black ones... that is if unless someone changes my mind lol

I am a size 34x34 in Levis.. so I sized down 2 and I got these New Standards in a size 30. I want my fit to be relaxed but not baggy.

So... do you guys think I will get my desired fit after stretching?

Can someone help me adding images?

Here are the URL's

34-2=30?

you should check your math on that one.

and it looks like those are going to be pretty baggy in about a month

I have too many indigos which is why I got the black ns. Also my true waist is also 32. I always wear fitted, not baggy or skinny. I got the black ns 29 and got all the buttons on in the first go.

If you're going for a fitted fit I would say size down 3 or 4. Blacks ns do stretch a lot. I've lost some weight so for more build people size down 2 or 3.

This June i think i will go to singapore with some of my friends

of course i will visit Front Row shop, because it sells APC jeans in there

but i don't think i will buy one of their jeans, because it is so expensive

So does anyone know what store in Singapore that sells Jeans that seems similiar with APC jeans, but it is more cheaper?

I prefer like Uniqlo, its cheaper and similiar with APC but i'm not sure that singapore has this store

ok thanks a lot. but like are the black ones worth getting? do you actually like them as much as your indigos?

and do they actually fade nicely, I have never seen pictures of faded black denim with honeycombs and whiskers.

i'm around a size 33-34. i'm going for the fitted look, so i'm gonna get size 30's. are they still fitted after you stretched into them?
