after a very painful 10 days without my XX-11's...

I finally picked them up today at Self Edge.

*honeycomb rips, 10/10 fix.

*crotch rip, a little uncomfortable to wear because the 11's have a tight fit. When I walk there's this friction and it rubs against my skin; tolerable, overall 9/10 fix.

*cuff fix, I like to double cuff my jeans. The stitching on the right leg is falling apart already. I might hit up BIG soon to get them hemmed if it completely falls apart. At the moment, I'm going to stitch it up again myself. overall 7/10 fix.

feels good to have these babies back. I'm most likely going to head back to Self Edge to get my APC Petit Standards fixed because I wore those out for the 10 days that I was XX-11-less.

012's=exact same denim as the 007! Same weight, same color, same slub. same texture.... in a 013 cut.

015=24oz denim version of the 005

017=24oz, indigo wrap and weft, version of the 007

020=24oz, purple face, version of the 010

hey guys here's my sz29 xx-011 OW fit. i've yet to soak em but they seem to fit better when i was in japan . they seem a little too loose fitting right now. would a warm/hot soak help shrink it?

to answer your question, they will shrink, potentially a ton if you do it hot. my 007's were OW and a lot over a few washes.

but honestly dude. that fit is really really good, one of the best i've seen no doubt. any slimmer and i don't think i would like them on you...but i would hem a small amount to give you better stacks, they look kinda sloppy.

Don't do it my man! It's all in your head. Those look really fit mate. You're eventually gonna have to wash them, but I would say keep them in that state as long as possible.

i had a similar phenomena with my skull 5010xx, but they stretch out 2 days after a warm soak if i wear em the entire day...shrinkage seems to be temporal.

edit: i do agree the fit isn't bad, but i was expecting a more tapered fit with the xx-011's...hmm

and those look very sloppy cause i actually inward cuffed em because of my height and unwanted stacking. i'll probably hem them to a 29-30" inseam (im only 165cm)

avex: I've got the 011's in a 29 too, and I'm also around 165cm... I got mine hemmed at BiG and I think I got around 5" off which was a bit too much in hindsight...

Anyway, the fit looks really good. Mine acutally look slimmer on me

they probably look slimmer because of the hem.

when you have a mess of stacks at the bottom, it tends to make the bottom half of the jeans look baggier.

quick question... i used to have a pretty thin/small phone so i would drop it in my pocket (and i didn't really care about the fade)

switched to an iphone over the winter and the thing is huge... i don't want to get an "iphone fade" on the front pocket, so i've been keeping it in my coat pocket... what should i do in the summer?
