Looks like the 011's will be my next pair. I've had my 005's & 005bk's for 2.5 years now and I've waited so long for PBJ to release a tapered version of the 005's. Had my bk's professionally tapered and I love the fit even more.

They are the same denim as the mens 10's but with the addition of poly for stretch purposes

Its the same version as the mens 10s with purple weft, but with stretch added. I asked the same question when I wanted to get them for my fiancee for Christmas

I could post up pics but I have no real wear to speak of, I have only had them and my 007s for a week or so. Its amazing how fast they break in, the denim is still rough and slubby as hell, but not nearly as uncomfortable as the first day or so

Very nice .max, have you had the leg tapered? I'd have expected the back of the hem to be draping under your heel if you do indeed have short legs.

No taper, and it's just these shoes... haha. Most of my other shoes and especially barefoot drag under the heel.

You have muuuuuuuch more stacking than max does. If you had your pair hemmed, your legs would look longer for sure. It also looks like max's legs are longer, so that probably has something to do with it, too.

lol yea mate, Im just 5'6", maybe it is because his pbj's already got washed, so that the jeans kinda soft and falls naturally, or maybe his inseam way longer than other PBJ which 36"? I love how my pbj stack now, because the stiffness is still there, but what about after they got their wash? that's my concern, any comment grouse?

And Satya, don't get me wrong. You've got a sick fit yourself. About the stacking, it's probably because I got my pair in one wash... I was a bit too impatient to wait for BiG to restock their raws in my size.

If they do lose the stiffness, there's still the chance the leg opening will shrink up a bit too. Just the thing about aging denim.

As they lose the stiffness, they will still stack nicely I'm sure. I mean, they're not gonna go all haywire or anything. My pair has been washed at least 5 times, and although the denim is completely flimsy, it still falls into whatever position it finds most sensible, if that makes sense; whatever placement has been ingrained in it.

nobody answered my question. do the ones with the purple weft have like some kinda of crazy purple fade?

not really from what i've seen. the fading seems even more typical than the 007's. there's a video on youtube, someone posted in another thread i think,

that shows a worn in pair.

the purple virtually disappears except when you're in sunlight, they look like 007s unless you cuff them. i'll post a pic of mine when I get time

I like them, they look really purple, I've seen a couple faded pairs and they are cooooool, as long as you can pull off wearing that much purple.

I don't wear enough purple to justify purchasing them, xx-011s instead.
