I know it's already been answered here but I can't be bothered dredging the thread. Now that pre-orders are closed, will there be the odd chance to buy a pair of contest jeans from BiG once the contest starts? I mean, is the run limited very strictly to pre-order only?

Yeah, I knew it was tizzight. I didn't pre-order cos I was flat broke and I already had a TTS pair of 811s from Bears. I'd really like a sized-down pair too, and I figured the contest pair are that little bit more spesh. Will have to cross fingers and wait.

Otherwise, anyone get a pair of size 29 they don't want for any reason, holla!

^possibly. Gordon said they should be at his shop in Sept. they're in production now. i checked out the reg 811's in store on friday (he told me he had just sent the sample pair back) and it made me that much more excited. it gonna be ridiculous with those added features on top of some already great denim.

i don't know about you guys but i haven't been wearing jeans lately, 95ºF+ and humid = denimsharkdeath.

Khakis and linens are really my wear these last few weeks :|

hey beatle i cant really tell for sure from the pictures but do the contest jeans have a felled inseam or are they the single stitch inseam?

most likely single stitch, just like the regular model. a different inseam stitching might need adjustment in the pattern and that would be too much work

Yeah other than the preorder of the contest jeans I only bought one pair so far this year, and that was a pair of white sorahikos for the summer so doesn't really count even...
