  1. I got these a few weeks ago and have hardly had them off long enough to get good pictures, but here are a few. Size 29 M41057, at this point my favorite pair of M-Series jeans that I’ve gotten so far. The fit is perfect! A couple pics from a hike to an alpine lake earlier:

  2. I really enjoy wearing these Two Moon 530. They are surprisingly rigid for long staple cotton but that's nice.

  13. hey, I wear a 42, I think I could wear a 40 for a very trim t-shirt only fit, although I suspect buttoning the collar on a 40 might be tight. I can fit a sweatshirt under the 42. I have FW outerwear in a mix of 40 and 42- I also have a 1922 506xx in a 40 which is a great fit (although I’ve also never machine washed it). Wear 17 in FW shirts (although I like a roomy fit in shirts) and a sweatshirt in a 40 for a trimmer fit so yeah bit of a mix even though I’d say FW is actually fairly consistent sizing compared to some brands. First photo is after 2 warm soaks and still probably larger than the listed one-wash measurements. 2nd photo is after 2 machine washes, plus another couple hand washes/soaks. Fit has been pretty stable after machine washing, lengths have continued shortening a bit, maybe some marginal overall tightening up but nothing too unpredictable.

  15. Making some space. Too many denim jackets. Cushman Type 2 Lot 21352 size 42 I've soaked this jacket. It might shrink a little bit more with a hot wash, but probably not much. For the bigger sizes T-structure was used or often for the type 2 sizes 42 and 44 side panels. This one has the side panels. 13.5oz selvedge denim. As you can see on the pics it has that relatively irregular structure as it has been woven on vintage shuttle looms. Approximate measurements: shoulder to shoulder: 49 cm (19.3“) pit to pit: 57 cm (22.44“) back length: 61.5cm (24.2“) shoulder to cuff (sleeve): 64.5cm (25.4“) As I've been focussing on my other jackets, this one has only seen a handful of wears. This had cost me around EUR 275. Looking for EUR 195+ shipping. Cushman's founder is seen here wearing the same jacket in the embroidered version. A pic from Barnstormers some more details Fading potential of the jacket and the jeans from the same denim (Lot 22177)

  18. To add - I wear both 38 and 40 in Freewheelers jackets - mostly 40, my 38 is a t shirt only fit. And 38 in a sweatshirt for a trimmer fit. I find one wash freewheelers to be the most comprehensive one wash out there - as in, it shrinks very marginally and I take the one wash measurements to heart. I don't try to factor in shrinkage beyond the one wash measurements with my sizing - hasn't steered me wrong.

  20. Anything with a hang loop screams 1980's onwards with Lee. The label is based on a vintage design but that's it unfortunately. 1990's is my guess.

  24. I did a bit of research, and it seems likely that Levi's purchased fabric for T-shirts in the 1950s rather than producing them themselves. Moreover, these T-shirts were comparatively simple and, in the interest of cost-effective production, weren't loop-wheeled (like T-shirts from Sears or Champion). So probably a good (authentic) reproduction of a simple and lower quality Tee for an outrageous price. I‘ve paid 16€ on a sale- that‘s fair.

  27. To all. Jealous of you who can wear denim during these temps, especially here in the UK. I have hardly worn any denim since May and will probably hardly wear any until September/October time when the daytime temps become more bearable. This has become a growing trend with me, just living in vest tops or t-shirts and shorts (none of it denim 😁) when the warmer months come and donning jeans more October until April time. I don't think it's climate change, rather something that's just occurred since entering my 50's(?). So with this new parameter coupled with my worsening feet problems means my denim takes a lot longer to fade 😢 Luckily l probably have enough worn-in jeans to last a very long time. So more so living vicariously through you lot these days. Keep up the good work everyone!

  37. A celegration of FW’s pearl buttons, the best in the ‘verse. First are 2 versions of the diamond cracker. The first one is the older version of the 8oz denim one (the new version doesn't have pearl buttons), and the second one is a cool cotton / linen indigo oxford. Can't recall the names for #3-5 right now.
