Nice one! I never did follow up on my earlier post... assume you went though Denimio, in which case did you rely on the chart or ask for more specific measurements?

There's not really much that's interesting me at the moment, but both the fabric on these combined with the annyoance of my old lot 2000 being too big .. well, you get the idea.

yea went through Denimio.  The size chart for the gatagata isnt even there anymore so I went off Evisu jp's measurements.  We'll see how it works out, Im kind of flying blind this time around.   Only kind of concerned about the post wash rise to be honest.  Its at 11.5" raw so if I loose an inch Im not sure how I will feel about it to be honest.

How did you size them? Size up 1? 2?

well thats a bit tricky.  Im generally a size 33 in most jeans that shrink to tagged size.  Jeans that shrink from tagged size, while I have less experience with them, I usually require a size 35.  With the Evisu's Im kind of flying blind as there seems to be minimal (less than other brands at least) sizing info out there.   Denimio and Evisu Japan have conflicting measurements that seemed to have been corrected or straight up deleted.  Denimio, while very nice to do business with has fucked up measurements across the board.  A prime example is the Full Count 0105xx measurements.  They say the thigh is like 12" on a size 32, which is not the case, unless they are measuring 3 inches from crotch seam.

So, these Evisu's may or may not work for me.  I went based on Evisu JPN's measurements.    We will see

I've actually ordered the 14.5 tiger selvage last week. Got them today and think they might be too big. Just put them through a 60 degree wash and they have shrunk quite a bit. Going to be interesting to measure them when they are dry! I really hope they fit haha.

Just measured the waist and it measures 79-80cm (87cm raw) They are still damp so I will post more measurements when they are completely dry. The fabric is really soft so I expect that they stretch a lot. But I think they will work out!

Ok,here is the post-wash measurements of my size 34 Evisus. 60 degree celsius. The pre-wash measurement were like the sizechart on evisus homepage.

Waist 78cm/31.2 inches

Rise 27cm/10.8

Thigh 30.5cm/12.2

Knee 23cm/9.2

Legopening 20cm/8

Inseam 79cm/31.6

I'm not a specialist on measure jeans but I did it the way blue in green do it.

Sorry forgot to say. It's 2000 no.1 denim. Tiger selvage 14.5 oz. When I first got them I thought they were way to big but I gave it a shot and washed them. When I took them out from the washingmachine they looked small haha. It's the most shrinkage I've ever got from any denim. Will post pics later today or tomorrow.
