Picture for ethandesu and anyone else who's not seen it...my Evis jeans, in various states of (un)wear...:

Top: Stylecraft Lot 2113 Leepros, my cycling jeans at the moment. Love them to bits, top eBay buy.

Middle: Yamane Deluxe Lot 00, as yet unworn. Another eBay result from about 18 months ago.

Bottom: Evis Lot 2101 Leepro, not worn them for a while but definitely not forgotten...beautiful denim, easily on a par with the No.1 denim I've handled...

Also have a Type II Evis jacket...

Update on the Macau-made No.1 Special. Off-and-on wear for a while now. These were inadvertantly given a premature wash by my mother-in-law. No biggie, but I wish she hadn't done it!

Pic edit is just to get the reflection of my half-naked arse out of the pic.

yes mate i knew about the fit , they fit like clown pants not a real good look , mabie they were just sized wrong . cant wait to see those 2004's after a few months of wear

Yeah, just a question of getting round to wearing them...don't think I ever need to buy any more denim after having sorted out some stuff this evening, despite me saying the other day that I was gonna treat myself...maybe I'll just look out for deadstock Evis from now... ;)

And jyoni, those are looking fucking superb mate...what's the denim feeling like?

Thanks Ben! The denim has gotten really soft, but I expected that since I machine-washed to shrink. No worries because the comfort level is off the hook. Really class, but also really warm for summer. Interestingly, some of the exterior fabric has started to split into tiny "hairs" along the vertical weave. I'm not sure which threads are doing it, nor could I get a proper pic of it.

And yes, this can be a clown fit if you don't downsize just a touch.

Just get them sent to your folks or your work address and sneak them back home. I'm sure plenty on here do!

The texture looks class mate, really good pics. The Lot 2004s I have are a little tight round the waist, which might be why the fit looks alright on me...

My Shaolin skills will be equal to the task :)

I've been reading about the difference about the no.1 2000 and no.2 2000. Someone mentioned that there is a cut difference....

Why is there a difference in cut? I thought it's just the denim?

I didn't think there was a cut difference, apart from the difference once the No.1 jeans have been soaked...

The silhouette is different because of the different denims I think. The No.1's will shrink alot more and the cut may seem thinner than the No.2 denim of the same lot number.

I missed out on buying a pair of unworn 17oz evis a few months back but the problem was I had already sent over the cash to the proxy. Dont know what usually happens in this case, I figured if they sent the cash back to me I'd lose alot from the paypal fees so I decided to wait for something else to turn up at auction. Anyway these turned up a few weeks back and I havent touched them yet. Not sure when I will be able to but anyway... you know how the story goes lol.

I already had the 2501's on the left. Both middle and right are Lot 2504's in different conditions. The pair on the right im not sure if they have been washed yet, perhaps hot soaked. Still quite dark which is good.

Ok no more denim for me, startiiiiing now.

I could always find a good home for the ones on the right, if you're struggling to find storage space... ;)

I don't think you get hit with fees if you have a refund via Paypal - SuToCorp refunded me some cash earlier this year for an abortive trainer purchase and I didn't suffer, although I had to wait for the cash to clear in my account.

wtf? i think you need to get a little more specific in what you are looking for or just read through the thread. i know its a lot of posts but if you start at the beginning there are some general descriptions of the different cuts and denims used found in the first few pages.
