Can you post measurements of the 0001s Calvin, please?

I think I said it somewhere above, but it seems to me that Lot 0001 corresponds to the Lot 2000, in No.2 denim (or No.1 pre-shrinkage), and NOT Lot 2001.

Lot0001 pre-soak measurement tagged 32

Waist: 32’

Front rise: 13’

Back rise: 15’

Upper thigh: 26’

Inseam: 35.5

Knee measurement: 20.4

Leg opening: 17.6

Compare it to my 0331, this pair has a higher front rise, roomier in the thigh, and bigger leg opening.

Haha, i agree. I think i read it somehwere in "evisu lot 2000 no.1" thread before, and there was a dude posted the pre-soak pics and the fit was similar to my 0001. But again, u cant expect the same shrinkage as no.1.. and this 0001 will remain baggy for me. Different sizing method is required I suspect?

2002 - same as 2001, but with zipper fly

2000 - a little more straight silhouette compared to 2001

Here is the note i took down when i read the whole thread a while back. does it mean 2000 is roomier in the thigh compare it to 2001?

From my understanding, the 0001 cut is loose like the 2001 cut. At least the ones I have are pretty loose. The 0001 cut supposedly runs larger in the waist, but not based on those measurements provided.

The 2000 cut is a little slimmer.

Thanks for the measurements Calvin, I'll put some up of Lot 2000 in No.2 denim when I'm back home.

The 2001 cut is roomier in the thigh than 2000, assuming you're comparing like-for-like denim, i.e. No.2 against No.2 etc.

Heflys, whilst I appreciate that you may have been told this on good authority, I myself cannot see how the 0001 cut is supposed to be based on the Japanese 2001 cut based on the denim I have.

The 0001 cut, whilst it may be baggy on some, is pretty straight in the leg as far as my knowledge runs. The silhouette, to my eyes, is the same as the 2000 cut but ONLY when compared to the sanforised or preshrunk dimensions.

You simply do not get hipflare on the 0001 cut in the same way that you do with 2001, as you can see the leg room here on the 2001 cut:

If this silhouette were the standard International cut then you'd be seeing a LOT more hipflare than you normally get with the International lines.

You probably know more than I do, since you have more experience with the Japanese side of things.

not really what i was expecting, must be more to come i guess

Speaking of which, the 0200 seems to be a pretty nice cut.. A little slimmer than the 2005, not entirely skinny, but at least it runs true to size; so no funny business.

I also like that Evisu is taking their denim more seriously. Furthermore, I'm glad to to see that there are not too many garish designs s usual.
