^ A little off-topic but if you're headed to Brick Lane, be sure to have a look around Spitalfields Market near Liverpool Street station (on your way to Brick Lane), especially on a Thursday. Here's Paul T's blog on some of the stall holders: http://www.marketpeople.org/category/spitalfields/

That looks awesome, I will be going there in the future but sounds like you say Sunday is the best day to go and look round. Unfortunately I'm going Saturday and it doesn't seem to be open according to the opening hours part of the spitalfields market site. Unless I'm mistaken!?

Looks awesome all the same!

Then onto Son of a stag. Great for any denim purchases if your looking for lvc...d'artisan....Japan blue momotaro....Edwin overworks.....full count...... And much more as well. They have alot of good range and not just that but the guys in there know alot about denim.

If your looking for your next pair of denims and don't want to order online/proxy etc i honestly can't see where else better to go.

Unfortunately that's the only photo I took of the store today.

As CTB pointed out they know the value of what they sell and it is not cheap but if you've got some cash in your pocket and fancy something awesome get yourself down there.

What's Evisu's repro cut? Do they even make such a jean?

Yeah, Evisu Japan started off as a repro company and their classic models are still based on classic cuts. Back when they were called Evis they made repros to make a latter-day denimhead burn with jealousy...

Evisu International (different company who produces under licence) used to run the occasional loosely-labelled repro model in limited numbers but this was only really of interest to aficionados and died out some time ago. The link I posted a few posts above was to their Leepro from a few years ago.

Someone take look at these....look a bit off to me dunno why, patch looks weird...

Gulls look international aswell yet rivets are right and underside of label appears right.

Not stamped 1 or 2 no3? Can't see a selvage/non selvage shot

I don't have a link but I believe that both Cultizm and Oki-Ni were selling an Evisu WW2/1944 special limited edition repro (200 pairs) that were Made in USA and came in a wooden box, etc........

This was about 2 years ago and they actually looked pretty good in the pictures. The price was high initially but they were soon heavily discounted.
