i think in most cases slackers will look just like grifters. the only difference is like a .5-1" in rise.
The slackers are very much the same as the grifter. A touch roomier in the trunk and thighs, with a slightly higher rise. I hope they work out. I'll definitely be posting a detailed review of the jeans when I get them. I will save any other comments until then.

On edit: There are a few good fit pictures out there showing off the slackers. If you google a bit, you can find them.

Yeah, but that amount of room might be what I need. I don't really wear low rise, i like the high/mid rise (which i know these are not), but want to give a slimmer fit a try rather than my usual straight leg (Cougars).

I did a lot of comparing the Slackers to the Cougars, and in the end, I just couldn't take the size of the thighs on the Cougar. I don't have chicken legs, but I'm not jacked either so I wouldn't be able to fill them out. The Slacker seems to have a little more room up top than the Grifter, while maintaining a slim leg and silhouette.

^ Word, and that is what I'm looking for too. I'm athletic, but my thighs don't fill out my current pairs of denim (one pair stretched out, one pair not stretched). My only concern is whether or not Ande's denim will stretch as much as what I have (Levi's STF, and APC). The site says about 1-1.5 inches, so i'm assuming that they will stretch a bit everywhere.

To those who have the linen patch -- How is it holding up? At first I was appalled by the switch, but the more I see it, the more I like it.

Also, in anticipation of my new Slackers, does anyone here want to post a fit pic that hasn't already been posted? I'd love to see some more fits.

Hey guys...jeans are looking sweet! Thanks for posting pic's.

Just a heads up, there are heaps of sale jeans in the store at present.

I will be adding more denim models of the next few weeks. A really nice 13.5oz Zimbabwe cotton and a nice 15.5oz as well. Still looking into making up a model using that amazing AI denim too.

Here are some big pic's of the washed down swatches. I spotted a big ball type slub when I looked at the pictures, haha.

Also some vintage sewing machine porn. The Reece 101 buttonhole machine is known as the mack daddy, but the Germans came up with a beautiful beast also. This black body Durkopp has the old school leather belts, one actually snapped and I kept fixing it....but alas it finally gave up. You can't actually get them from the sewing machine store anymore, they have these special rubber belts.....no where near as cool and bright orange too. You can't see in the pictures as it's on the other side, it has two belts. I want to get my leather guy to fashion up a custom one. Noisy as heeeellllllll.

Ande can we have hidden arc for the new models? Don't tell me that's a bad idea....

There are no arc's...only wings. ;)

I just realized the current 14.5oz model has been going for 6 months, there may be people close to a wash? Any pic;s out there fellas?
