Skull 5507 Going for the opposite fit of my PBJ's. looser thighs and more taper. i like the fit. probably could go down to a 33, but these feel great.

Hey SP, those are looking pretty nice. Mind if I ask how tall you are/weight? I'm 6'2", about 200 lbs., and just picked up a pair of 5507's, size 34. I'm liking them, though to be even better for my liking, they'd have a little larger leg opening.

From BIG. The fit not for everyone....wide leg opening and wide knee...sort of like WWII cut with a shorter rise.

True to size...been sitting in my closet for a while....they are tough to fade.

they shrink right? so howd you size em like levis? or samurai?

Yeah...they shrink to tag size...may be 1/2 inch below tag size but stretches out to tag size. I am normally a 32 and I got size 32. I'll get you the measurements when I go home tonight.

I'm 6'1 190. i have wide hips and bigger thighs. these work perfectly.

Anyone with any experience with the 5109xx? I was just checking those out on the Fab Four site, and the measurements look interesting to me. The front rise seems really high though at 31.5 cm (~12.4")...

Still working with my 5507xx, and I'm liking them more and more.

Here you go Ed. My 5000XX at 10 months. My first pair of Japanese Denim. I got it one washed so I can't give you my raw measurements. I think BIG tumble dried this pair. I'll get you fit pics later today when my wife gets home.

BIG method, measurements in () are raw measurements I got off BIG website.

tag size: 32" x 34"

waist: 31" (33")

front rise: 11.5" (12")

rear rise: 14.5" (15.5")

thigh: 12.75 (13")

knee: 9.75" (10")

leg opening: 8.75" (9")

Edit: Waist now measures 32.5".

5000XX fit pics as promised.

When I first got it, the denim was very hairy and rigid. It also had a very pronounced purple tint under sunlight....even more so than my fullcount contest pair...I think it means denim has a red caste.

here's my raw 5010XX 6x6 fit on the looser side of slim. intentionally sized true and hemmed exact [after hot soaked x2] to be worn without stacks/cuff__ for a nice & clean change.

sized down one on TAG size but the waist size is the same (30)

im 5'9~ 136 lbs

actually thinking on getting the 30/31 cause i am going to gain weight and the thighs will not fit in the long run...

my 5510s 6x6 o/w shrunk a bit in the upper region after 3-4 months. They've become a tad slim although surprisingly length did not shrink at all.

5507s are the way to go! tempted to grab them but at the same time I want the black knight version of the 710s
