yes fresco i will as soon as possible, and the thing is realy warm.

i wish takashi would have made them up to size 46.

well.....

thanks anyway

You got a 44 then( i think that would have been my size too), what are the measurements like? Still waiting on fit pics!

no unfortunatly he only makes them up to size 42. so i got a 42, wich is really tight specially around the shoulders and the back. you can see the measurements on his homepage.

i wish he would have made a 44. i asked him if he is ever going to make one again, but he did not answer yet. i am happy takashi made it, cause last year he didnt know yet if he would make any at all.

by the way, i wrote aeroleatherclothing last year, cause i had been looking for a coat like this for a decade now, and they told me that they would make it. so thats a chance too.

they have a shawl collar barnstormer (here is the link http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/17176229) wich is acutually almost the same cut as the workers coat, and they would use the gabardine wich they use for their cloth jackets.

another possibility is real mccoys in new zealand. back in the days when they were still together with the japanese fraction , they made the same jacket, even with the sheep lining! i worte them too last year and they said they might make one for me, cause they still have the pattern. this i think would be the best option. and the more people ask the higher the possibility to get them to do it again.

here are some pics of the new zealand coat.

exept of the zipper wich the orinal coat did not have in the 20s, the coat is killer, dont you think

Yes very nice indeed! Maybe we should petition RM NZ to reintroduce it.

I remember the measurements on Takashi's website, the 42 measures almost identical to my Barbour cowan commando. That was the size I was going to order. I really don't know what came over me when I decided not to go for it.

Not much chance but, if you ever decide it's too small, I'll be interested in it.

ok fresco, although i dont think i will let it go. youknow the material is very thick and the lining is also heavy. funny how different a blanket lining is , if it is made the real old way, unlike todays blanket linings. my carhartt chore coat size 38 has the same measurements and is roomier. so.

anyway i just wrote real mccoys new zealnd, so we will see. just drop them a mail. i bet they will answer and try aeroleather, they will make you the same jacket even with the option of alpaka lining. i remeber i send them a pic of the jacket i wanted and amanda said it would be no problem to make it with the features i wanted. the prize was something around 300 quid.
