can't for the life of me remember what this is called but it was tasty...

beef, tofu, glass noodles and a broth so good I want to bathe in it.

This is called sukiyaki, and it's a very awful looking version of it.

Saw these at the market and I decided I wanted to make them into a dish:

So:

Roasted garlic scape and walnut pesto pasta with heirloom tomatoes, green onions, feta and black olives. Doesn't look so great but holy fuck was it tasty.

Trying to integrate Lightroom into my work flow, so far, real slow. Seemed to work a lot easier when I used to do mostly everything in Bridge, but blah. Here are the photos.

Midnight snack, Portuguese Sardines. (Heated and cooked a bit too. I was trying to somehow crisp/toast the skin up. Fish Confit? Probably not.)

Next day dinner, Patatim (Pig Knuckles, Soy, Brown Sugar, Banana Flowers)

And the day after that, Sopas (Sausages, Chicken Liver, Chicken Gizard, Forked Chicken, Penne, Broth and Milk based too) and Black Pork Chops (Savory thing, String Beans, Soy, Moscovado).

basic steak dinner at home, with Kinokuniya vegetables, the best

Need more BTU's. :( Had to sear the steaks in my Le Creuset marmite, which is not ideal, but it's the only thing that I have that holds some heat.
