Did u use a plastic cup? and did you adhere to the 900W microwave thing?

Ive tried 3 different recipes but I cant seem to get the consistency that El bulli gets, and it might be my microwave cause the thing is from the 1990s

i halved the recipe on the blog. i used a plastic cup. i also had a 1200w microwave. got it right 3rd time round, which happened to be dinnertime. other times shit was just soggy or burnt.

i used gut timing (ie i counted to about 30) and watched the microwave before taking it out. i reckon it's done when it just stops rising and starts to sink marginally. i also adjusted the settings, failed on medium, failed on high, worked on medium high.

for the whipper, i just stuck one charge, enough for like 7 mini cakes on my small half litre whipper.

but now im in food coma
