i appreciate your concern.. but i ride comfortably. Vans slip ons i feel are unfortable in my opinion. Its not like im riding on the velodrone so i dont see a problem. Also i dont rock a chrome bag if that says anything about the way i ride.

just makes me assume you tend to cruise around the block and not necessarily riding far or hard. if you're riding a brake, that makes more sense, but if you're not, i don't see how you have control. my 2 cents... i just don't like to see people picking up track bikes as its trendy and hurt themselves because they don't know what they're doing. but who knows, you could have been riding for years for all i know.
