Sorry everyone, been slacking on the fit picture...Here's how they fit! (size 32 and I usually wear a 32 in repros)

Oh my, I am not a contestant, but reading through this thread and seeing the fit pics, I couldn't resist. I purchased a size 32 today. I will do my usual dual hot soak when it arrives and post pics. You guys are looking to be in for a great ride with this contest. I look forward to seeing the updates.

thanks guys, I'd say it's the exact fit I was looking for (just a bit tight in the waist after two washes). Hopefully some pairs in the right size will make it to everyone's way, this denim is begging to be worn in...

one week in, the denim has pretty much soften up and creases begin to settle in a little bit

Spot on fit aho, did the 2nd wash make the inseam shrink some more?

The lenght is just great, would have loved mine to turn out a bit shorter too, but they might shrink some more with the 2nd wash.

I'm not washing them though untill it's needed though, so untill that time i'll just double cuff them.

 

What i did notice is that your pair appears to be tapering slightly more than mine, something i also noticed on API's pair, but it might be the angle of photography.

^It's indeed the angle and the way they fall on my shoes...I did lose another inch in the 2nd wash so you probably have some left as well!

These arrived a few days ago, unpacked today. Removed the horizontal stitches and the left pocket tab. The best $200 I've ever spent!

 

Going to warm soak them overnight. My raw measurements:

 

Waist: 16.25

Rise: 12.25

Upper Thigh: 13"

Leg opening: 9"

no apparent blue peeking through for me, but there are a few rusty spots begin to develop on the fly buttons

I see changes in the denim, but no real fades yet.. probably a few weeks more.

After a 6 hour soak and a machine wash, they did not shrink as much as I expected. But I don't plan on washing them again just to get max shrinkage. The fit feels right to me.

 

Waist: 16.25 > 15.25

Front rise: 12.25 > 11.5

Thigh: 13 > 12.25

Leg opening: 9 > 8.5

Inseam: 31.5 > 30.5

The post-wash waist fits just right, but it seems to be really stretchy. For those who are still on the fence, if you normally wear odd sizes, sizing down should not be a problem.

How much shrinkage do you guys think ill get with a wash in the machine and dryer?

You'll get almost all shrinkage out of them with one wash + dryer. (i have done that twice now)

 

They shrink pretty good, but stretch easy too, my final pre/post wash on a 34w.

 

W  86.5 -> 82
FR 31.5 -> 29
BR 41.5 ->39.5
UT 34    -> 32
K  27      ->25
H  24.5  -> 23
In 88.5 -> 81.5

I live in Simrishamn,  southeast Sweden, a small town with 6000 people, very calm except for all damn tourists.
