the house i live in was an estate sale and lately i've been getting weird vibes, like dude is still there

yesterday, i was startled by someone in the kitchen

but no one was there, right?

and i said "Lamar!" in exasperation (the dead dude's name)

it was weird because his name just came out like that

when i was younger, i'd see ghosts all the time

i remember after one weird episode (i won't get into because you wouldn't believe me anyway), the homeowners of the place we were visiting had an exorcism

this was all in the philippines - a spooky place anyway

faith healers everywhere (we'd see dr orbito; i remember him plunging his fingers into my dad's chest and scooping mucus from his lungs)

animistic

countless displaced souls

overcrowded graves

i remember a graveyard near where we were staying - it was so overcrowded that human remains had to be disinterred to accommodate new cadavers - the old skeletons were put in a well

strange seeing a wishing well overflowing with human bones

things have been less spooky since puberty

but lately, things have been getting weird again

maybe the dark satellite is nearing again

this may come off as pedo shit, but I assure you guys, it's not.

my mom is a babysitter and when i was living at home it was really crappy; I just wanted to move the fuck out of there. I would come back from school and I would have to take care of them cause sometimes it was too hectic for my mom to look out for all of them. At most she has ever taken care was 5 (from babies to toddlers) and the least was 1. It was just stupid busy and I couldn't do my own shit when it was a full house. Although it's fun sometimes cause It's entertaining to see how they do things like play, think, and interact with each other, I still wanted to leave and not deal with them.

That was with 5 kids , but with 1, it's a different story.

The house was quiet, which was nice, but it was a sad, lonely quiet. No crying, no laughter, no playful sounds that you would get when you have a full house. I would come back and all I see is the little dude/girl sitting in the middle of the living room, playing by himself/herself or just sitting on the couch watching t.v. for god knows how long. When I see that, I have this attraction to just go play with him/her. I would set aside all my plans just do to play with him/her until she/he goes home. We would have this fucking great time cause I know that when he/she goes back home, they don't have any siblings to play with. I do my best to let them know that she/he is never alone. Even though I have siblings, I can feel their loneliness. I would give them so many hugs when I am with them; I just can't stop hugging cause I want them to know that I am always there for them.

It has been over 5 years since I last babysat. For some reason, this feeling randomly hit me and I really miss giving out those hugs. I miss that sense of guardianship and companionship for those little dudes/dudets. I hope that when my turn is up I don't end up with 1 kid, but if it came down to that, I would spend so much time with her/him.

I want to quit but (1) Have not searched and not sure what I qualify for yet (2) I want to go to a grad program but do not want to incur more debt (3) This job is not bad and has a lot of room to move up and i have full benefits
