My camera can't really pick up on the subtle blue hues but I hoped flickr would save the colors...So here are a few pictures of some details and slight fading I've been following

Note the abrasion from my bag on my left thigh/right side on the picture (I always get this on my jeans)

Knees are coming in fast!

And finally, the cuffs

So again, subtle, but definitely coming in. These are among the fastest fading jeans I've had, I'd say on the level/speed of Warehouse, maybe even faster esp. considering we're only at 16 days? I haven't worn them too hard as it's been a lazy winter, but the fastest fading spot for me is the crotch (the pictures I took didn't really come out though)....

Picked up my Roys today and just want to add that they are truly awesome! Cannot believe how beautifull the denim actually is in the flesh. Well worth the wait. But those who have already know this.

Haven't had a chance to give them the fine tooth-comb treatment yet but first impressions have easily outshone any expectations.

Pre-soak measurements in inches are:

Waist - 35.5

Inseam - 35.5

Front rise - 12.5

Back rise - 16

Leg opening - 9

Will get some fit-pics as soon as is humanly possible ... "

Thanks Fardin, I think they will fit fine, but I'm not going to wear them raw. Too much wedgie action going on for one thing.

But proportionally, I believe they'll be fine.

The ROYs paired with a cone denim vest I put together last night. I modeled the pattern off of a Lofgren hunting vest. I changed a couple things about it like pocket decorations and I used a busted seam down the back, rather than a felled seam. I will probably be adding a cinch to it if I get off my ass and order some buckles from riverjunction.

Oh and you can probably see my kitenge bandeezy in my left rear pocket.

First up: Bahai temple (only one on the continent)

Next, Gaddafi Mosque. This thing is GIGANTIC.

Inside: seating (kneeling?) for 5,000 men

Craftsmen were brought in from all over the world (I might be getting this wrong...):

The ladies had to cover up. Homegirl got creative with some kitenge chickens & turkeys I had in the back of the car.
