recently bought a flat head and glory park winter flannel from SE. Any specific wash advice I should heed?

Cold water wash and line dry them.

I'm amazed how intact the crotch looks after ten months without any actual washes.

Something about these photos looks weird - maybe the jeans aren't totally dry, or I'm just not used to seeing pics of jeans right after they've been washed/soaked and don't have any creases in them.

first sunny saturday in a while. 50-ish days on my flat head bsps. size 29, hemmed to 31. shrank to 29 inseam after an initial 30 minute machine wash (inside out). could have sized 28 as the seat is much more forgiving than expected. wish I hemmed these longer, I miss stacks. denim is super crunchy and hairy. love these pants.

time to go longboarding and get these even dirtier. first wash this week. :D

segeantsarcasm: You probably need a 32 (maybe even 33.) The 3002 is very slim.

Rosarkar: Nice! For what it's worth, I stretched out the inseam of my 3009s by two inches by pulling on the legs after each soak.
