They are highly intelligent.

They can almost instantaneously match the colors, patterns, and textures of their surroundings.

They have three hearts.

Their blood is blue.

They are deaf.

1 milligram of toxin from a Blue-Ringed octopus can kill a person. There is no known antidote.

Plus they eat sharks for breakfast. Well some do anyway. (Sup Franklin)

I live in Japan and ppl always ask if you can eat various types of Japanese food. I always say that I can eat pretty much anything, but I don't like eating octopusesesss. They assume I don't like the taste/texture, but I then have to explain just how badass these cephlapods are and always regale them with the fact that Octos can learn via observation:
