I love how BSS have gotten so big. I remember seeing them at the local places years ago when they could barely fill the space. I still try and see all the secret shows they play in Toronto when I can. I know some of the guys in the bands so they usually give me the heads up. They really like taking care of their Toronto crowd.

Just got back from a little tour of Texas..f**king hot there! Hit up Houston, Austin, Driftwood and San Antonio. Austin was 108F last Friday. Gutted out my 0500's only at night.

Haven't had bbq til you've eaten here. Best I ever had. (wide angle lenses don't do macro shots I learned)

morse, I just moved from Austin after living there 6 years. people will try to tell you that there is BBQ even better than Salt Lick, but it is incomparable and I miss it already. can't rep.

moving meant a lot of the past several weeks spent doing stuff like turning these sorts of things ...

finally, movers came and we cleaned out the house. this was home for longer than anywhere else I've lived.

For the last 3 days I've been riding in a van on the way to San fancisco. My band is playin a show there tonight (the 11th) at a venue called bottom of the hill. If anyone in San Fran wants to come say hi you should.

started with an hourlong wait at the dmv to get a new drivers license.

then headed down into the city to visit mike (kix) and the boys at the woodland/tanner goods. got my superswaper some good stuff, and picked up a few pieces for myself (scrap leather to attempt at making stuff, and four coasters).

then went over to oregon leather company and picked up an awl/stitcher (all in one) and a "star tool" to mark where the holes are going to go. (no photos )

before heading out of downtown made a stop over at voodoo doughnuts for a little treat. got a "portland cream" and my friend got the "old dirty bastard" (a raised doughnut with chocolate frosting, oreos, and peanut butter)

many times I refuse to let my wife drive. When she does, she gets angry at me while I cower in fear of death in the passenger seat. I have never, ever in my life been more terrified in a car then I am with her behind the wheel.
