blue gear has some of that new OA denim on a new pair...very nice, almost Cone like...Anyone ever get a sample? Also worth noting that I believe they've sourced this denim from a new mill, hence the name/numbering change.

I asked Ryo&Hiro about the new OA denim...and from the sound: I want it now!

Okay, we will send to you the fabric samples including O.A-XX denim.

#O.A-XX

13.5oz unsanforized(same oz as #91, but O.A-XX is hard than #91)

white selvage

Pure indigo(not too dark, true indigo blue)

U.S.A cotton

made in okayama japan

shrinkage% about 9

waist -2.5inch, length -3inch

We refer to the dead stock denim of 1940-1950s.

O.A-XX is the special denim produced by ours to be able to hold it for OOE YOFUKUTEN.

O.A is trade mark of OOE YOFUKUTEN. When you read OOE, you pronounce it O.A.

Ryo's grandpa used this mark from 1935s.

We named this denim O.A-XX for this trademark.

We have used many denim so far.

I put a favorite place of each denim together and made new denim.

We think that O.A-XX is the best now.

and the O.A-XX fabric...pictures don't do it justice, it's hands down my favorite denim available through Ooe and I'm deciding it from the swatch alone.

Best description I can think of is it's a mix of #91 and #92...It has the touch of 91, but the darkness of 92, and feels very "vintage" accurate. Buy up this fabric, and buy more of it. I know what my next pair of jeans will be (aside from Devi's Contest )

hoggreaser, O-Y will adjust the pocket spacing off the center to whatever you want. Just be sure to discuss it with them. They've done it for me on two pairs now.

My 4403 pics are dead. I'll reupload them soon. The fabric does age very nicely, but if you like contrast it is tough to break! Are Ryo and Hiro telling you people can finally get some 44?
