The shape of those whiskers and combs looks really good, Max. Actually, I think those will wind up better looking than your 710s with time.

And, your 710s are my personal favorites because they still have their dark blue color. I don't like 710s when they turn all gray.

Here are my 0500xx's about 6 months of solid wear and 2 or 3 washes. Plan to wear them more in the future but started some Eternal 811's and i'm in love with them.

Those look great. That's definitely my favorite Samurai denim.

How's the fit between 0500s and 811s? I had a size 31 pair of S0500s but they were a little too loose in the leg. My size 31 710s, on the other hand, fit just right.

Cold Summer - My 811's are a size 30 compared to my 0500's which are a size 29. I love the fit on the 811's, though since I did size up one there is some room in the leg. I think they fit kind of similarly based on the sizing I used.

Pirates is a perfect store to buy from! They typically sell Samurai as one-wash though, so make sure you communicate.

either it is me or it is them...I don't know. The new products...kinda trying to hard. Just heavier and flashier...not my cup of tea. Maybe I changed.

I still love their standard jeans though. The 710 and the 19oz denim. Still perfect. The S500VX will stay an all-time classic. And the S0500 is also great (the pair I have, haven't checked the recent Texas Coton denim issue)

I find it interesting that while they're a looser fit, I can see the pocket bags in front, and the pocket lining in the back.

Effin' LOVE these man. My JINs looked like this a couple years ago. Your pocket bags will eventually burst through and thats when the real magic starts!
