sorri guys if you think that this is a newbie question. well i just receive my S510XX 19oz jeans and i found out that it is too long when compare to my nudies jeans even thought 2 of their length says 36 so do i cut it up to the lenght i want or if i give it a good wash it will shink to the stated length ? so do i wash before wearing or wear it for 6 month before washing .

Because the jeans are shrink to fit. If you notice, the waist measurement isn't the tagged size either.

Nudies=Sanforized

Samurai=Unsanforized

Soak or wash your samurai before you start wearing them and they will shrink down to a 36 inch inseam!!!

So, I went to Americaya in Shibuya today and tried on some 5000vxs down a size (30) and 710s true to size (31)

Apart from them being like cardboard to put on, the 5000vxs fit quite nicely, apart from being long, cardboard and well, the hem was a bit wider than I thought (I was hoping for thinner than my canes), but I assume that'll shrink once they've been hotwashed, so no worries there.

As for the 710s, the fit was nice when I finally got them on, but Jesus Christ almighty, that took a while. With it being 19oz, I expected something stiff, but fuck me sideways, they were tough to get on. My calves got a bit stuck at the thighs as well and I couldn't button them up when raw, so I'd have to size up, if anything. So, the idea of getting them is out of the window, I'm not quite ready for a hot summer and 19oz denim yet.

So, now it's between the 5000vxs and I need to find some 0500xxs soon too.
