ay ya yi its fairly obvious, its just as it implies: measure your waist in the location where your jeans will sit: as in, if your going to wear them on your hips or whatever, measure that. 2 inches below the naval is just the standard. you measure that by using a measuring tape and wraping it around you and taking the number you get....like a regular ruler. or i fyour stilll confused from that just get a regular ruler, yes like the ones you use at school, get your favorite pair of jeans, and then make the wasitline on those jeans completely straight, having the front side and back side align. then measure that, multiply by 2, and there you go: your waist size (given that thats the size you want)

^ yea just try to get true to size to what your actual waist is. i wouldnt compare anything to APC's because those things stretch so much that it doesnt end up being a good thing to compare to unless its completely stretched out and you like it that way. but anyways, i suggest true to size in a lot 10, or size down one in a lot 11 for 710s. the lot you get depends on where you get it from. where ever you choose to order from, ask em first and they should tell you!

i was confused earlier because i'm really, really skinny (5'9", 120 lb). but if i wear size 26 NS, sized down 3, then that means my jeans are actually going to stretch out to be 31, cuz size 26 NS is actually 28", then sized down 3 will be 31".

so that means i should be buying size 31 S710, but when i go on the How Do Jeans Fit Description and Pictures thread, there are people who are shorter and heavier than me wearing size 28. so that's kinda confusing.

ok wonderwall, get a ruler. i know you have one, if not go buy one..got it? good. now. are your NS just the way you like them on your waist? is it too big? too tight? just right? if it is just right, straighten the waist up on the floor, measure it with the ruler, then multiply that number by two, and boom thats your waist. add or subtract an inch accordingly if it is too big or too small and there you go, your 710 size!

If it that's confusing you shouldn't own denim.

Case closed.

agreed. i feel the same way as you when i see people asking for help with sizing APCs, but that's only because i have experience with them as i own two pairs. experience is king.

after i break in the sams, i'm looking to get a pair of PBJ and when i do, i'll know who to contact.
