Yeah the amount of crotch wear is a real pain as I love them and their texture.

He probably just sized down too much I'd think.

I sized down one taking in to the account of shrinkage with their soak and subsequent washes so they've only been sized down once, I think it's more because of the already skinny fit but I think it looks good:

Maybe you're just wearing them high, but they look pretty tight in the upper block. If you wore them one size looser, they probably wouldn't split on you so fast.

they look tight, but premature blow-out could not have been mainly due to sizing__ stitching @crotch seemed intact [ie, no thread breakage]. did you wear em dry from the getgo?
