looks alright, but plastic hardware that connects the bag to the straps and handles is a huge turn off for me. and for a bag thats meant to carry larger loads, its pretty much a deal-breaker (for me).

but if all you want a cheap duffel, it is what it is.

No, it's not "timeless". The shape is there, but the fit and detailing will turn heads (in the wrong way). Unless that's the look you are trying to achieve. You shouldn't have to try to "make the clothes fit." It's on sale for a reason.

i really like the toebox shape, its partly why i admire them (whites semi-dress) over say a pair of alden indys or something. i copped the og brown ones a little while ago. theres no steel toe, but they feel like someone took a cast of my foot to make them, and right off the rack too, like there's no extra space to be filled, they hug my foot perfectly, cant wait to break them in
