i was referring to the width of the shoulder straps. had my share of experience with similar style backpack and the strap was just too thin (also given that it did not have padding). but from the alt. pic it looks like the makr straps look padded.

i have the standard havana belt in a 30, i usually wear 29/30 jeans also. after a few days it stretched a bit and i buckle it at the second hole now. I would get the havana, its really nice.
