apparantly theres this delivery service in the nyc area that |someone| has the number for. he's never tried it.

the private delivery services (someone has to refer you) that i know of are tropics, el bomba (la bomba??), and this central park delivery service. \\

tropics has the illest bud but it's too overpriced. i think its 5grams for a hundred. whats nice about it is that they always have special strains like great barrier reef or cat piss. basically things that you'd be able to get at dispensaries in cali that you aren't as common among street dealers in new york . guy comes into your house. gives you a menu and you order it on the spot. no chance of getting busted. not that you should get busted for copping bud. oh and they only deliver in manhattan.

el bomba, delivers to brooklyn and manhattan, but i think its a minimum order of 100 if your going to have them deliver it to brooklyn. the bud is decent but its nothing special.

central park delivery service will meet you up any where in central park, dude drives one of those park ranger mobiles, at least that's what he was in the last time i' was in the city. usually has diesels on him. he's more like a dealer than a delivery service.

it was interesting, i got some good lines of writing out of some of the stuff. every once in a while one of those "starving kids in africa" commercials would come on and, like, rap or dubstep was playing.

btw, has anyone experienced growing with neon lights ? i live in a room, so sodium lamps are out of the question, and i don't even have a cupboard i'll have to build it...

LED technology at the moment is not nearly as helpful to us as it is expensive..... and the results from them haven't been anything *spectacular*

if you can't use HID, compact fluro bulbs are the cheapest, next best

bang. personally for a small grow, i'd have a couple T5/8s shoplights

hung over the top, supplemental lighting provided by CFLs.

as for a home to put em in, rubbermaids are cheap and easy to manage/malleate,

with your brain, if you've smoked enough

Does anyone else find themselves, from time to time during particularly nasty weed droughts, resorting to scraping the inside of their car (mats, cupholders, etc.) for shake, crumbs, whatever it takes to pack a bowl?

Did this the other day for about 15 minutes, picked up what I had collected only to have the wind blow everything away after I opened the car door. The patheticness of the whole situation made me realize it's time for a break.

nope. they go in normal light sockets. u can by them cheap at a DIY store. screw them(the socket) into whatever with two screws and then screw the bulb in like normal. icmag has a whole subforum dedicated to micro grows http://www.icmag.com/ic/forumdisplay.php?f=65545 and a great thread over there http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=88449. and a french subforum as well. you will learn things there and you will see pictures of most of it.

I've grown indoor plants before and used CFL for indoor lighting. It's a pain to get enough to put out enough light, but definitely much cheaper than Metal Halide. I would just make sure you get lights that have a color temperature that is "cool white" or "daylight" as these can be better utilized by the plants.

The really nice thing is that the bulbs don't put out much light and the only ventilation you would need is for the odor. But like others have said, it screws into regular lightbulb sockets, they're easy to get and cheap

i've been gathering a lot of information tonight. CFL bring more light than neon i had initially thought about which looks like this, but are more expensive in the long term, which i don't really care.

about odour i have the possibility of opening the window 24/7 since flowering will happen in spring.

there's a growshop close to my place, i always freak out when i pass in front of the store because they have tents and sodium lights inside. they've advised a friend so i'll come with him. i'll try to keep you updated, i really appreciated all the help.

Ya i mean I kinda fall in the grey area because I got the card for add and insomnia which are legit reasons that they give cards for and that I have but i definitely use at recreational level but fuck it, the herb quality is worth it. This place is legit though, I'm pretty sure I won't have to pay again because they said that the price is for 1 year and that if they want you to go follow up you dont have to pay extra. And the secretary wasnt very cute, don't fall for that sexy voice shit, they still could be 300 lbs
