Show us your knife

Recommended Posts

I just discovered this thread and I'm glad I did! I have been collecting and carrying knives for about 14 years. I have a knife clipped to my pocket 99% of the time and I feel naked without one. Mostly I use them for opening boxes and letters and cutting string or whatever. I love knives esthetically and as a tool and hope to NEVER use one in self defense.

I have a bunch of knives but I thought I'd start of my posts with one of my favorites. (I never carry this knife! It just sits on my dresser with some other ones and I switch it open for fun every once in a while)

Sumach is the best wood for carving. My grandfather was a master carver and taught me how to make birds and what not. Sumach is really good because it is a very soft wood and is easy to cut into.
