hello friends

after a few joints on a beautifully foggy coney island beach yesterday

i am sorry to report that the shock of salt sand and surf may have been a bit much for the already scorched right hand patch

this morning i noticed very prominent cracking along the bottom and middle of the leather

i dont think it looks particularly bad, but i wonder if it will become problematic later on

after a very pleasant and disorienting time at the beach we meandered several dozen blocks and sampled some underwhelming afghani food

today the no. 1s and i decided to give back

spending most of the day running a bone marrow drive with the cammy lee foundation

we also bore witness to some very over(zagat)rated thai food

plus some vulgar, amateurish, enjoyable scrabble

pictures are forthcoming

(they have been taken, they are simply not yet in my possession)

ill also take some fit pics and a few snaps of my personal effects

and detail of the patch damage

i am somewhat relieved that almond is not matching the fever pitch of chicken's photo diary; i was getting nervous, myself...

man i was nervous the whole time too, but with the help from my gf we kind of got into a groove. it became kind of a lifestyle to take pics every day. now i kind of miss it in a funny way.

hello again my deliciously dirty bakers dozen

update on our babies

im unsure if any pictures exist of them thursday

that day was all depression and drugs anyway

yesterday is another story

after a day of dress slacks and heartache

the no. 1s and i met up with miz, coleslaw, kangkong, mister and missus chicken at the writers pub

thirsty fellas, these jeans

a few urquells and seven stars later our table was ready at hagi

miz and i riding our natto pierogi high

while out for a smoke, we ended up stumbling onto diddy's vacation pad

sadly, he was out when we rang

judging by how lovingly the denim adhered to my rearquarters

im guessing the no. 1s quite enjoyed the pitchers and skewers we shared over the course of a dynamite yanks / sox game

with our bellies full and our minds at ease we set off

for whatever reason the webs chicken shot did not come out in this picture

mr, mrs, and i simply could not resist our urge to boogie

though our march took ages, general chicken did his best to preserve troop morale

once we arrived, ladies and men alike found they could not resist our no. 1s

shy as i am, the jeans insisted we give the masses what they wanted

thankfully this bearded fellow knew better than to look directly into the handpainting

chicken, 3rd degree blackbelt in poledancing, was more than happy to answer some of my questions after the show

before long, we were boogied out

soon after, the jeans and i bid adieu to our friends

after a needless but tasty halal cart run, the evisus and i found ourselves in bed

or i suppose, in couch

Question. Are the jeans creasing in the same spots on you as they were on Chicken, Almond? Not a huge deal either way, I've just been curious.

we ate dinner at hagi, which is a cool sports bar catering mostly to japanese people.

some notes:

1) hagi is a nomiya--a place to get drunk and loud, especially when the yankees come from behind to win. we were rudely told to be quiet by a couple patrons and by our very shitty waitress. i guess they didn't get the memo that you are supposed to get loud and drunk in a sports bar. assholes. at least the yanks won.

2) while we were dining, we were interrupted at two separate times by women who wanted to talk to almond, on some, "i know you from somewhere....do you want my number?" must be the power of the denim.

3) while we were waiting for our table, 3 older japanese women came in to the spot and said in japanese, "shit, there's so many americans here." bitches.

4) beer + meat on a skewer + yankees = good times!
