MISTER FREEDOM

Just ordered a L in the CPO, couldn't lie to myself anymore when i saw them back in stock. Its just one beautiful looking shirt.

I bailed on the jacket though my baws got sooked back up.

You made the right move. I think I would be willing to spend 6 months at sea if thats what it took to get that CPO. Honestly though...the whole collection this season is pretty amazing, and comes close to covering everything I would ever need for non-suit and tie situations. If I had a little more cash on hand, I would seriously considering picking up one of everything and forgetting about needing clothes for a very long time.

Per request some fit pics of my Pcoat from last season, note that this is not blanket lined, so it might drape and crease a little different from current seasons one, not much though, I felt the current one and its not far as stiff as one would imagine.

I will post proper wear updates once I'm back in Amsterdam.

This a L, started raw and I soaked it a little as I couldn't afford that much shrinkage for the arm length.

3052905779_3ca1a482e7_o.jpgplease note that I have a pouch on my belt wich pulls open the back, it normally falls closed. (yes I need a haircut, fuck off!!!)

Finally, some fit pics.

These are a 32, my first 7161's were a 34, and my 7163's a 33. (I generally take 32 in jeans)

I opted for a 32 in these as I figured if I was going to wear the same cut as I've already been wearing for a year, I might as well switch the size up.

It shows that these don't have to be worn loose for a "workwear" fit but also look good slim, note that the way these are cut makes for a very fitted top block, no hipflare whatsoever.

Soaked for about an hour in the hottest water from the tap, and hung dry overnight.

Note that I had to take out the top stitched cuff as I needed the length.

I have a question for those who have already bought that CPO:

I'm ~6'1/145lbs||184/67kg myself, would size L fit me too big? How would you recommend sizing it? Do you like to wear it "oversized" and fitting bit loose? I've seen the measurements, but would still like some personal views.

Don't really see what you think is random about them.

The idea of modified garments comes from the military and its basically modifications that improve the functionality of an pre existing garment which are being carried through in a current run/model, without it being an actual model change. (I believe I made that sound more complicated that it really is...)

Mister Freedom felt that the 7161 would improve with these added features, based on the A-2 side pocket he added on his own first pair of 7161's and the back pockets he added on the second pair of 7161's he wore in.

The leather side pocket is just TOO usefull to doubt really, and the backpockets seem to be added because the wraparound pockets are fairly hard to get big wallets etc in due to their positioning and how tight they are to the body.

These are placed more like "regular" backpockets, thus making them easier to get a big wallet or notebook in.
