Ok, I think that's enough photos from me. It's been a wonderful two years for me. I wore my jeans hard, and had a lot of once-in-a-lifetime experiences. I got engaged, traveled a ton - all over the country and to Africa - successfully climbed 5895 meter high Mount Kilimanjaro, built a bunch of furniture, ran a new personal best in the marathon (2:42) and half marathon (1:15 fair course, 1:10 very downhill course), and completed the hardest/biggest portion of my PhD, which I wrote up over the past couple months and submitted for publication this past week. Time for the judges to make their decisions! Thanks Mega for putting this on!

Thanks. I just hope they're not judged poorly for their lack of contrast at the end. They're just past the point in their life that they have enough indigo left to have any contrast. Haha.

Final Contest pictures.  It has been an honor competing with everyone on this board and community.  This was the first time I have ever done anything like this and had a really fun time.  It's been an amazing 2 year journey and definitely have some fond memories/stories with my jeans.

Final submission pics:

I will miss wearing these jeans exclusively, but I have other pairs that need attention. I LOVE these, though, and they will be in my rotation for years to come. It looks like I'm sitting the DWC out this time, but I will certainly be following it just as enthusiastically as I followed HWDC and HWDC2. I'm just going to spend the next couple years being a denim slut with my 5-pair denim harem.

Final submission time! I wish I would have worn my Steel Feathers SF0121 more but in the end they were a little too tight and heavy for my liking. So this is what you can do to a a pair of Steel Feathers with 12 months of active wear and around 8-9 washes.

It's been fun as hell though, the challenges definitely pulled this big show in the right direction.

Visited Stockholm a couple of times

 

 

Lots of gigs, like First Aid Kit for instance

 

 

I moved to Örebro

 

 

I went to England and saw Everton - West Ham at Goodison Park

 

 

Had lots of great beers

 

 

I also went to Berlin during the World Cup. Unfortunately like 2 days too early to see them demolish Brazil!

 

 

I also went to the fjords in Norway over the weekend

 

Had a beautiful summer

 

 

And went skiing for the first time in 15 years
