Actually just picked up this SKX173 today. One of the first US market SKX's produced (1996). Slight differences between this and the 007/009 but I think I like the rectangular markers more than the rounded 007/009 markers.

I'll probably throw it on a ZULU or a NATO after wearing it on the oyster band for a little while.

I would not get a watch winder. They prematurely wear out the oils in the watch and would actually speed up the servicing intervals.

I like the J12 but its not very durable, its all ceramic which cracks easily.

I have the IWC, you can always find it on sale or 2nd hand for a huge discount.
