that Scuba King is $465'ish though, that's a pretty solid deal. it's not the most iconic looking watch design ever, but for what he wants to do, not bad, and easy to get ahold of.

I like the look of the Scuba King. It doesn't look dated. The only thing about Hamilton's is I had an old chrono khaki about 10 years ago or so and the thing was really loud in the ticking department. It was an auto, but really loud.. .don't know if this is common or I just had a loud one...

Doesn't have to be an homage. There are a lot of independent watch makers offering diver watches at around the 500-600 price range, or you can always look at seiko or orient.

I really want want MKii milsub. imo, it looks much better than a rolex, and Bill's sword hands are some of the best out there.

pokpok: that goes without saying. If I could get a kingston, I'd sell off all my other watches except for my orient and be done with it. My chance of getting one now tho are pretty slim.

Eriddw: I think he only has his own line. As far as I know, people arent getting anymore MKII parts to mod with.

Vintage red is nice, but very different from a kingston and a milsub. I like the newer style bezel on the ocean line.

Mako over sub homage, but I also prefer the Mako 2 over the original mako.
